Mix #158 we bring you DJ Brian Guinness from Northern Kentucky. Brian is entering into his 16th year of DJing and always evolving. Starting in 1999 as a wedding and private event DJ. In 2003 starting his first residency at McFadden’s Cincinnati. Over the last decade he has continued to keep up moving around the area providing the sound tracks to Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky nightlife. Doing this while continuing to be an in-demand wedding, corporate and private event DJ as well.
I enjoy having the ability to be versatile and play a variety of rooms and events. The following is a mix of Indie beats meshed with classic hip-hop. These are songs I have been playing for years in their original format. These mixes give a rebirth to classics. This genre has been blowing up lately and over the past several months. Right along with its popularity growth I have been on a hunt for remixes. My “Indie-Hip-Hop” crate has been growing each week. Using that crate this was a pretty organic live recording. I recorded numerous variations of this mix and this was the recording I felt was the best representation of the vibe I was going for. At the end of the day I hope this mix gets people ready for warmer weather on this spring forward week.
