MUSIC: VH1′s – Master Of The Mix | DJ Loczi Bootlegs
The 2013 season of Master of the Mix debuted on VH1 on Monday night and quickly became a hot topic among DJs. The show features contestants pitted against each other to see who is the “Master of the Mix” with a grand prize of 250k in cash. After show #1, the twelve finalists were revealed. One of them, DJ Loczi, hails from Southern California, has been a longtime friend of DMS and has graced us with some of his original bootlegs.
LOCZI, raised in Southern California began his career in DJing while living in London where he was exposed to one of the most vibrant musical scenes in the world. DJ, Producer, Remixer, Song Writer, Label Owner (earWAX), Instructor (ww.TurntableU.com) and Advisor for the top Electronic Music Production School in the world, Icon Collective. Voted the #1 Club DJ in San Diego, Producing his own signature show on the Las Vegas Strip for MGM GRAND (DJ LOCZI’s ELECTRIC DREAM), as well as part of the powerhouse production duo PRIMA VOLTA, LOCZI does it all. Regardless of the size of the venue he is sure to provide his highly energetic stage presence and seamless mixing ability as he weaves through multiple genres of music, telling a unique and creative story in a way only LOCZI can.
