Here’s an unofficial first-look walkthrough video of the new Serato Remote iPad app, designed to control Scratch Live & Serato DJ from Mojaxx.

I’ve used screen recordings to give you a close-up view of how Serato Remote hooks into your software, and how it works in use.

After the jump watch Rui from Serato demonstrate how he uses Serato Remote with Scratch Live. Rui has added Serato Remote – running on his Retina display iPad – to his Scratch Live set up: Pioneer DJM-900nexus, Rane SL3 and Technics 1210 MK5 turntables with Ortofon Serato S-120 DJ cartridges. He’s connected over USB for ultra low latency.
