Mia Hansen-Løve’s indie film Eden follows Paul (played by Felix de Givry) as he lives through the fledging DJ scene of the Parisian underground in the early 1990s. Inevitably, that means the protagonist crosses paths with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, the duo who would become known as Daft Punk.

A newly revealed teaser clip for the film shows Guy-Man and Bangalter (here portrayed by Arnaud Azoulay and Vincent Lacoste, respectfully) play their eventual breakout hit “Da Funk” for the first time. It’s a fictionalized version of a minute but momentous moment in music history.
