From Daft Punk to Steve Angello, hosting a pop-up shop has become a thing for popular DJs. Joel Zimmerman has returned with another pop-up shop, this time in Los Angeles, called “a lot of stuff in a store” teaming up with FANCY.com to offer limited edition deadmau5 merchandise during the sold out four night deadmau5 show at the iconic LA venue, the Shrine. This iteration will take place at the Fairfax shopping district between Melrose and Beverly between Friday, April 28 and Saturday, April 29. During the recent deadmau5 “lots of shows in a row” tour, Zimmerman launched a similar pop-up shop in New York, though this Los Angeles iteration boast an expanded list of limited edition merchandise, including deadmau5 x Ron English vinyl toys and a W:/2016ALBUM/ vinyl.

Audiophiles will rejoice to learn multiple audio and electronics companies have sponsored the event, like Wearhaus, Kef Speakers, and Nanoleaf, bringing exclusive hardware for purchase at the event. Moreover, many of the iconic mau5heads will be on display, as well as a unique piece created by contemporary artist Ron English. Most notably, English’s piece is available for purchase online, with proceeds going to Win, a charitable organization providing housing for women and families in New York. Coordinated with the four nights at the Shine, this pop-up shop will prove to be the essential destination for dedicated deadmau5 fans as they prepare to experience his newly revealed Cube 2.1 stage.
